Welcome to the Suffolk Local History Council

The Suffolk Local History Council is a new website dedicated for the discovery of local history in the Suffolk area.

The Suffolk Local History Council has been set up to assist interested amateur historians from across the UK, by bringing together resources and articles of interest into a single place for research.

Additionally, interested historians can publish their own discourses on the local history of Suffolk by sending their piece to us, with images where applicable, which may be used for further reference.
